IAS is one of the most difficult tests to perform. People who have learned, or rather clarified, will tell you how competitive it can be and how difficult the crossing process is.
It’s not like you give the boards where you put everything back and spit on paper. You really have to have an incredibly smart person here. Once you have completed the written exam, you are invited to an interview so that only the best of the best do the cutting.
We found 19 really weird questions (and answers) that were asked during both phases of the review process. These questions do not check how much you know about it, but how good and funny you are. Check if you can solve them without checking the answers (at the end of the article).

That’s what you have for the equation. Here are the numbers that you can use to fill in the brackets: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, and 15. You can repeat the numbers as needed. The resulting sum should be 30.
Q5: Jamie looked at his reflection in the 45th floor window. Driven by an irrational impulse, he sprang out of the window on the other side. But Jamie did not have a single bruise. How can this be possible if he has not landed on a soft surface or used a parachute?
Q6: Using a single straight line, you can create the right equation. 5 + 5 + 5 = 550?
Question 7: A murderer is sentenced to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of angry fires, the second full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of life. Which piece is the safest for him?
Q8: Can you name it Wednesday, Friday or Sunday?
Question 9: This is an unusual paragraph. I’m curious how fast you can find. It seems so ordinary and so clear that you thought everything was fine. In fact, there is nothing wrong with that! This is very unusual. Study it and think about it, but you still do not find anything strange. But if you work there, you could find out. Try without coaching!
Q10: What would happen if you wake up one morning and find out you are pregnant?
Q11: The twins (Adarsh and Anupam) were born in May, but their birthday is in June. How is that possible?
Q12: The peacock is a bird that does not lay eggs. How do you have baby peacocks?
Q13: If the company of two and three is a lot, what are four and five?
